The method

Why the score means something.

Real astronomy

Sun, Moon and Ascendant positions are computed with Jean Meeus's algorithms and verified against NASA JPL ephemeris data to a hundredth of a degree. Time zones and historical daylight-saving rules are handled for 9,700 cities.

Two layers, one score

Layer one is classic synastry: the aspects between your Sun, Moon and Rising and theirs, plus element and modality fit. Layer two is you: a learned affinity profile built from the people you marked as good or bad, weighted by what you're looking for.

Calibrated, not flattering

Score tiers were calibrated on 20,000 simulated pairs so that "Cosmic Bond" really is rare (about 1 in 15) and "Intriguing" is not an insult. Every score ships with the reasons behind it.

Privacy by design

Your Experience Map never stores names, and other users never see the dates in it — only the signs, when matching. Location is used for Discover only. Delete your account and everything goes with it, in one tap.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Is this a dating app?

It's an astrology app first. Your blueprint, Cosmic Check and daily weather work on day one with nobody else on board. Discover — meeting people nearby — is optional and off until you turn it on. Choose friendship, dating or both.

I don't know my birth time. Does it still work?

Yes. Your Sun is exact from the date alone, and your Moon is computed for noon; if it falls near a sign boundary we tell you so. Birth time and city unlock your Rising sign later, whenever you find them out.

What if I don't remember an ex's exact birthday?

You can enter just their sign. The engine works at sign level for other people's charts, so an approximate entry still teaches it something.

Do other people see my Experience Map?

No. Nobody sees the dates or the entries. When the engine compares you with someone, it uses only the sign patterns — and that happens on the server, never in their app.

Where does the AI reading come from?

Readings are generated by Claude (Anthropic) from your computed placements and the engine's findings — never from free text — and saved so they're not regenerated. The core scores and daily weather don't use AI at all.

When does it launch?
